3rd Line Support Engineer | Bournemouth | Up to £40,000
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an experienced 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer who is keen to advance their career within the IT support industry.
As Service Desk Technical Lead, you’ll provide 3rd Line technical support and act as the Customer Lead. You’ll maintain ownership of incidents and service requests seeing them through to completion in a timely manner as well as acting as the main point of contact for customers.
As Service Desk Technical Lead, you will join a dynamic and technically focused team. If you’re an experience 3rd Line Support, passionate about technology, good at problem solving, with excellent communication skills then we would like to hear from you.
THE TECHNICAL STUFF:
Experience working on a service desk in a 3rd Line Support role
You will have a good understanding of PC/Laptop hardware to include Mac
Windows 9 and 10 OS, Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server, active directory, group policy
Exchange server 2010/2013/2016, Office 365, Citrix XenApp, Lync
Network devices including Firewalls (IP routing, IPSec, VPN, VLAN, LACP) LAN switches and routers an advantage
Datacentres and virtualisation (VMWare & Hyper-V) an advantage
If you act as an escalation point for Service Desk Engineers in a 3rd Line capacity, then we would like to hear from you.
You’ll take ownership of high priority and urgent customer issues and drive them to resolution.
Act as the customer lead, provide diagnosis and resolution of issues raised; this includes incidents, work requests and service requests.
Perform proactive and preventative maintenance, ensure tickets are logged correctly.
Provide diagnosis and resolution of hardware issues raised via the Service Desk that includes PC’s, laptops, Routers, firewalls & LAN switches.
Must have UK driving license
