Infrastructure Manager | London | circa £55,000
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to join one of our key clients, based Nr Camden in London.
As the Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for meeting operational needs around the design, build, configuration, maintenance and development our clients’ IT Infrastructure; including but not limited to: servers (including virtual servers), routers, switches, firewalls, data communication lines, operating systems, databases, storage systems, telephony and other types of systems.
THE BASICS:
As the IT Infrastructure Manager you will be the first point of escalation for the infrastructure team and will be expected to manage the team’s workload, assisting them with implementing the various IT infrastructure related projects which are assigned via the project management team. This job role will see you pro-actively oversee the network monitoring solutions, administer patch management, anti-virus and web filtering as well as administer and maintain the telephone system, including telephone switches.
In addition, you will assist with the team with troubleshooting, systems backups and archiving, as well as their ability to perform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery tasks.

THE ADDITIONAL STUFF:
We are looking for someone who can deputise in the event of management absence but can still illustrate a ‘hands on’ approach to the technical tasks such as pro-actively managing the network monitoring solutions and the design, implementation and maintenance of systems, programs & hardware.
THE DESIRABLES:
If you currently hold a CCA, VCP or ACA (Avaya), ITIL or a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification you are like to be of interest.
