Service Desk Network Engineer | Bournemouth | up to £38,000
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an experienced Service Desk Network Engineer who can provide first class technical support and customer service but also act as the Customer Lead for a select set of customers.
This is a fantastic job opportunity to own and maintain ownership of incidents and service requests seeing them through to completion in a timely manner as well as acting as the main point of contact for customers.
You will also assist the Server & Apps or Networking & Voice Teams with project rollouts where required.
The Senior Service Desk Network Engineer will act as an escalation point for service desk engineers and technical routers, whilst taking ownership of high priority and urgent customer issues.
If you can ensure clear customer communication; act as the customer lead and ensure reporting is completed on time – providing diagnosis and resolution of issues raised including trouble incidents, work requests and service requests, then this role should be for you.
Individuals who can perform proactive and preventative maintenance; provide diagnosis and resolution of hardware issues raised via the Service Desk that includes PC’s, laptops, routers, firewalls & LAN switches and ensure tickets are logged correctly in line with company policy – will be sought after.
Engineers who can prioritise, manage scheduled tasks, provide support as part of the 24×7 OOH support rota, undertake regular and ad-hoc site visits to customer premises and assist BAU colleagues with project work where required; such as assisting with the progression monitoring systems and/or software/technology rollout outs are likely to receive an immediate interview request.

If you pay attention to detail and documentation fully and proactively handing over to customer and colleagues, with a willingness to work within required systems and process to enable colleagues to collaborate remotely in delivering great service, then we’d like to hear from you today.
We are looking for calm, professional Engineers with a solid work ethic, with good written and verbal skills, coupled with excellent customer service skills including listening skills and the ability to build rapport with users and senior management.
