Our client is going through a significant growth phase and is planning on doubling in size within the next 3 years. This role is key to the expansion and you will form part of the management team.

The ideal candidate will manage the internal CRM system, whilst generating enquiries from warm leads, converting these through to high end sales, and you will be at the forefront of growing and recruiting the sales team. If you have demonstrable experience in monitoring and maintaining KPI’s, coupled with strong leadership skills in developing new business (in excess of 1 million pound per deal) : this career move could be for you!

Jonothan Bosworth are working with an exclusive client and we have a fantastic opportunity, which is a crucial role in terms of their ambitious growth plans.

We are looking for a BIM Manager (Building Information Modelling) to take a leading role in the planning, setup management & maintenance of the BEP (BIM Execution Plan for each project) for our client.

If you can insure Building Information Models (BIM) are completed accurately and in accordance with the information provided within the Employers Information Requirements (EIR), and be the gatekeeper for all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information; whilst establishing a data exchange procedure for projects across all stages, then this job opportunity should be for you.

THE PRE-REQUISITES:

Can you maintain BEP’s and Protocols for BIM Projects and enhance the Common Data Environment in line with PAS1192:2; whilst conducting audits at key project stages to ensure all stakeholders (internal and external) are in compliance of BIM processes? Do you have the leadership qualities to chair and record BIM workgroup meeting (BWM) and BIM workshops? Are you aware of new technology and standards to deliver BIM, including installation and support of related BIM software?

We are looking for qualified individuals who can:

  • Help the project team understand and successfully deliver PAS1192:2, Level 2 BIM requirements.
  • Confirm project standards to the design teams including file naming structure
  • Be responsible for Revit content creation

·        Actively assist with the development of Revit knowledge within the design teams via in-house Revit training.

·        Make recommendations regarding BIM related software and how they work with Revit

·        Carry out any other reasonable request from the Head of Design or Directors

THE ADDITIONALS:

Candidates with design/construction related backgrounds/qualifications, as well as a sound knowledge and understanding of BIM within the construction industry will be highly desirable. A strong understanding of and passion for BIM processes and work-flow in adherence to UK standards, coupled with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Word and Excel; adaptability (i.e. able to jump from project to project and stay abreast of all changes) will be immediately considered.

THE DESIRABLES: 

A working knowledge of NBS Create and knowledge of Advanced Steel, Navisworks, Autodesk Robot or other parametric, fabrication or coordination tools, with an achitectural design qualification would be very useful.

There may be infrequent visits to ‘site’ locations and out of office for additional training courses.

Job Summary:

  • As Quantity Surveyor you will work closely with the Contracts team to ensure optimum delivery of the project, to quality, on time and within budget
  • You will manage and mentor Assistant QS and Senior Commercial Administrators
  • You will maintain and add to the approved supply chain, whilst delivering high standards of workmanship

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • You will review tender and enquiry information and screening and flag up any contractual or commercial benefits or hazards within the documentation provided
  • Provide clear and realistic solutions to the Division how any hazards could be avoided, or how any benefits could be capitalized upon
  • Leading and controlling the estimating process for pricing up of tenders or enquiries
  • Contributing toward the tender / enquiry strategy meeting in terms of compliance marked up price
  • Reviewing Contracts issued and tender documentation
  • Accurately monitoring and reporting on project cost activity
  • Ensuring that the project target margin and cash flow is maintained and bettered
  • Populating and agreeing with the Division project cost plan and target margins from the outset
  • Controlling the population and maintenance of the project
  • Populating and ensuring adherence to the project procurement schedule to ensure that dates are adhered to
  • Preparing Sub Contract works packages, reviewing Sub Contract works quotations for compliance, quality and best value
  • Raising Sub Contract works orders / contracts

Pre-requisites:

·         Relevant Commercial Qualification i.e. BSC Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying or equivalent : working knowledge of the construction industry and advantage

·         Proficient I.T. user to include MS Excel, Word and Outlook

·         Excellent communicator across all media and at all levels

  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress of subordinates
  • Excellent time management skills ensuring all deadlines are met
  • You will have the ability to drive through and adapt to change
