THE KEY SKILLS:

Developers with several years proven track record around using technologies such as: MVC Frameworks, Java, CSS, JQuery / AJAX & additionally, any exposure to Javascript will be sought after.

Any exposure to: Tomcat, Weblogic and/or Jboss will also be held in high regard.

THE OTHER STUFF:

You will be given the tools to work autonomously whilst being supported by the wider team; maintaining data integrity and security, whilst testing web systems for compatibility in all manner of browsers.

Developing, implementing and testing databases for our clients’ systems and web sites & portals will make up part of your day to day activity, so if you can work under your own initiative; and are able plan & implement methods of deployment for new developments we’d like to hear from you TODAY.

THE DESIRABLES:

Software Developers with experience and/or exposure to: Learner Management Systems (LMS) (e.g. Blackboard, Moodle), xAPI (tincan), RESTful web services, Linux server administration, Hibernate and MySQL are likely to receive an immediate interview request.

Job Role:

As Senior Systems Operations Engineer you will work as part of the 3rd line support team. You will be responsible for effective running of Exchange 2010, Windows 2008/2012, and Active Directory.

Pre-requisites:

You will have a proven 3rd Line Infrastructure background with Exchange & WINTEL

Knowledge of ITIL Frameworks, excellent troubleshooting skills to rapidly resolve complex 3rd Line Server

Datacentre and Network problems; support and maintain of GPO and AD design.

You must have extensive experience in Exchange 2010; HP hardware; Windows 2008/2012; Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; Windows Clustering.

Knowledge of SCOM, SCCM and/or ePO would be distinct advantage. Accreditation in either a MCSE, MCSA, ITIL
