As the Azure Developer, you will lead the development of new methods and the implementation of new cloud based platform(s) for standardising Analytics & Business Intelligence activities.

THE BASICS:

This is a greenfield project, and requires hands-on technical leadership in development, operation and improvement of services, whilst keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends.

If you can lead a BI development team, covering data integration, visualisation and web-application, as well as develop the skills of an extended off-shore development function whilst simultaneously overseeing the build of reliable systems that are scalable, this could be the right job opportunity for you.

If you can seek and process feedback to determine areas of improvement; document code and track changes in software including updates for future reference and perform regular unit tests to determine the effectiveness of current software and to catch glitches that could slow or hamper growth, we’d like to hear from you.

This job role is expected to be 80% lead and 20% hands-on : with a reporting line to the Programme Director.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

Developers with several years full-stack development experience, including acting as a Lead Developer, and Azure Web App Service, (plus monitoring), Secure .Net Web Development (C#, TDD) and Azure Storages and Data Factory services will be of sought after.

Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS and CI/CD pipeline and GitHub experience is highly valuable.

Data Security and Governance experience, coupled with experience of PowerShell and ARM, as well as working with data sources like, JSON, EXCEL, SQL Database will be of much interest.

THE ADDITIONAL:

.Net Core, JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, Angular and reporting tools like SSRS, Power BI will likely result in an immediate interview request.
